ABOUT SYEW

Seeing Potential.

Supporting Futures.

SYEW (pronounced See You) is a Tanzania-based organization
committed to supporting underprivileged youth-especially girls-through education, mentorship, and empowerment.

We believe education is one of the strongest tools for breaking the cycle of poverty, and we work to remove the barriers that keep students from reaching their full potential.

Through scholarships, food support, girls’ empowerment initiatives, and local social enterprise, we help students stay in school and
build independent futures.

Who we are

SYEW stands for:

Support Youth in Education and Empowering Women

Our mission is to identify vulnerable youth and provide them
with the support they need to continue their education, grow
in confidence, and create a better future for themselves and
their communities.

We are rooted in Tanzania and deeply connected to the
communities we serve.

Our Story

SYEW was built from years of direct community work and educational support.
Working alongside Safi School Project, we have supported students facing
barriers such as poverty, food insecurity, lack of school supplies, and social
challenges that threaten their education.
Over time, our work expanded beyond sponsorship to include:

Feed Our Minds (Food Support)

Girls Empowerment and menstrual health

Nusunusu Initiatives (Cloting)

Furniture Production for schools
